This is a slot about Aladdin, the character immortalised in books, films and perhaps best known for being the lead characters in many pantomimes. Aladdin is Chinese and his story appeared in the tales of the Arabian Knights. This is a very neat looking slot, each symbol framed within its own box and the background colour to each symbol being a deep, dark shade - giving the slot a suitably atmospheric feel. The symbols are made up by the playing card characters from Jack to Ace, all of these drawn in a suitably Arabic style. When forming part of a win line, the symbols have some animation, which adds to the slot. The main feature of the slot is a free spins round which is activated by collecting a number of gems on the reels.

This slot by 1x2 is a 5 reel slot much like the majority of those found online, this one having a particularly large fifty win lines. Usually, if playing a slot with this many lines you’ll have an option of playing fewer lines, but here you’ll play the whole 50 each time. There is a ‘win lines’ button which shows every line, although good luck in trying to pick out individual lines – this appears like a very colourful and crowded plate of spaghetti.
To win at this slot you’ll need to land consecutive symbols on a win line from left to right starting with the leftmost symbol. Landing Aladdin, Princess Jasmine and the Genie will see you win with just two in a row, while you’ll need at least 3 in a row for every other symbol.
When you begin playing you’ll notice a meter beneath reels 1, 2, 4 and 5 with five empty slots. Every time a gem appears on any of these reels, one of the slots below that reel will be filled. Should each meter be filled by at least one gem, the 2x multiplier light will come one and an extra symbol will come into the game – the 2x wild.
However filling these meters does have its difficulties, as every time Lord Jaffarcake appears on a reel, he will steal a gem from the meter, so just like a pantomime villain, you will grow to dislike him. Should you fill an entire meter with gems you’ll be taken to the free spins round.

You’ll receive a different number of free spins dependent upon which meter is filled. If you fill reel one with five yellow gems you’ll receive 25 free spins. Reel two (pink) will see you gain 20 free spins, reel three (orange) 15 free spins and reel four (blue) will give you just 10 free spins.
During these free spins you’ll find another wild symbol appears – the temple wild and this has a 3x multiplier. The wilds in this round could be compounded, so if you were to land a win with both the 2x and the 3x wild you’d actually earn a 6x multiplier.

With a character like Aladdin there is an awful lot of scope for features and bonus games. You could have a feature based around the three wishes he is granted by the genie, or another feature where he is searching for Princess Jasmine. Sadly, this slot has no features at all apart from the free spins and to be honest this lacks excitement too.
What this slot does offer however is a good experience for the player who doesn’t want to be interrupted too often and enjoys focusing on the action on the reels themselves. This is a solid slot in this respect and offers regular smaller wins as opposed to long waits for a larger win, which will also appeal to some.
