Symbols within Ice Fruits also carry the wintery theme through, just with a fruity twist. In terms of quality, we were really impressed by what features on the reels, as the symbols here really are eye catching. Stars, lemons, cherries, apples, and strawberries have all been given the frozen treatment to tremendous effect.
We have to call it how we see it and say that Ice Fruits really does look the part, as Drive Media has sprung a few pleasant surprises here.

Does Ice Fruits have gameplay that can rival the biggest games around? The answer to that question is no, but it is hardly delivering a half-baked showing. Across the 5 reels and 9 paylines, the game is able to cut a fairly steady pace, with the betting levels being equally even spread through this medium variance title.

Cracks Begin to Show
Through its gameplay and design, Ice Fruits really does build you up, but sadly in the bonuses department the game is nothing but a massive let down. The only thing even remotely resembling a bonus feature was the gamble round that occurs after each winning spin, with even that being a bit on the drab side.
To say that Ice Fruits is boring on the bonus front would probably be fair, as the game has nothing more than a gamble feature and scatter symbols to offer. What this proves is that Drive Media really have cut corners with this particular real money slots title.
Seen it all Before
We would like to end this review on a high-note, but that’s pretty much impossible, as you’ll see that Drive Media has included the “cookie cutter” control panel once again. Much like in other releases, it is rather clumsy in execution and looks pretty much out of place within Ice Fruits.

Ice Fruits really is a mixed bag as a real money slots game, as it seems to be one step forward, two steps back. The theme and design are real plus points, but the bonus and controls here are pretty poor considering what rival games have to offer. When you break down Ice Fruits, what this game probably represents is a bit of a missed opportunity for Drive Media.
