Hot Cash Slot Machine
Hot Cash (sometimes stylised as Hot €ash) is a five-reel, non-progressive video slot from the popular Spielo gaming suite. The fiery casino game boasts 9 paylines and integrates features that are familiar to many long-time online players – features like scatters, wilds, free spins and multipliers.
If you’re ready to cook with gas, it’s time to turn up the heat. Read on for our full breakdown of this fierce, fast-playing video slot.
Hot Cash Layout
Hot Cash is the prototypical casino slot, characterised by flashing lights and shiny fruit. If you were to sketch a casino slot, it’d probably look a lot like this one. The title is a visual feast, with plenty going on to draw the eye. Either side of the reel grid, numbers from one to nine flash, the digits representing pay-lines in the game. The lines, however, are unfixed: you can choose to play on one, two, three or all nine using the + and - arrows in the control panel, located at the foot of the screen alongside buttons for Spin and Bet Max.
Players can also use the control panel to regulate their coin denominations, which stretch from 0.05 to 1. You can stake up to nine credits per line. To put all pay-lines in play at max bet, then, it costs 81 credits per spin. The maximum jackpot is a cool 45,000.
The reels are imposed upon a red background, and the icons are more than a little familiar. As well as BARs, lemons, bells and assorted fruit, there is a scatter, represented by a bunny emerging from a top hat, a bonus wheel, a dice wild and a sparkling blue number 7.
The red dice wild, incidentally, substitutes for all symbols excluding the scatter and bonus symbols, of which there are two. Wild symbols involved in a winning combination also come with a 2x multiplier attached. Use one wild to form a combination of four number 7s, for example, and the pay-out will be 1,800 instead of 900!
The scatter, meanwhile, grants pay-outs from both directions right-to-left as well as left-to-right. You need only land two scatters to win a pay-out. At max bet, you’ll win 162 for two, 405 for three, 1,620 for four and a massive 32,400 for five. Indeed, five scatters grants the second highest pay-out in the whole game, behind the 45,000 jackpot. The pay-out for five bells is 4,500, and it’s the same for five blue 7s. You don’t need to hit five matching symbols to win an attractive sum, though: combinations of three or four will suffice. For instance, the winning pay-outs for three symbols go from 45 to 900.
Disappointingly, the scatter does not yield any free spins.
Hot Cash Bonus Pick
The Hot Cash bonus pick occurs when you land three or more bonus symbols across the reels. These bonus icons are represented by a wad of cash held in a gold band. In the mini-game, you’ll have to pick three of five domed serving trays (also known as cloches), under which lurk differing values between 180 and 900. How lucky will you be? Only one way to find out.
Hot Cash Bonus Wheel
The Hot Cash bonus wheel symbol triggers spins of a special bonus wheel, which is strung with incentives. If you land three of these symbols on an active pay-line, you’ll be granted a single spin of the bonus wheel. For four symbols it’s three, and for five symbols it’s five. The bonus wheel is divided into multicoloured wedges containing prizes, which stretch from 180, at the lower end of the scale, right up to 9,000. Again, the luck of the draw is essential here. The good thing to note is that the bonus wheels crop up fairly often on the reels.
Red-Hot Slot
Hot Cash is a fun, flashy old-school casino slot. It might not boast a progressive jackpot, but with 45,000 to be won, who’s caring? The title is open to all players, thanks to an expansive coin range, and features a rewarding bonus wheel mini-game, during which you can seriously multiply your winnings.
If there are any complaints to be made, it would be about the graphics: they are basic, at best, and an upgrade would certainly be welcome. Then again, the point of the game is to hearken to those gamers who demand an old-school flavour and barring exceptions like Black Magic Fruits, this is what you would expect. If such games appeal to you, give Hot Cash a try.
