Flaming Fruit Slot
Flaming Fruit is a 3-reel video slot with 5 paylines from Tom Horn Gaming that features a variety of features and a betting structure that allows up to 25 credits to be wagered.
As the name implies, this titles uses various fruit symbols with a couple of traditional symbols allow players to navigate its system. Let’s have a little run through all of the symbols used in the game and the payout capabilities met if a max bet of 25 credits is wagered!
7s Spell Heaven
The highest paying symbol in Flaming Fruit is oddly the pair of 7s. This symbol pays out at 1,600 credits when three match on any given payline. Although this is a decent payout, Tom Horn could have offered a better symbol here, especially being the top paying symbol in the game. A flaming watermelon, just like the one in the logo of the game would have been perfect, but any flaming fruit would have really been a better option.
Also an odd choice, the pair of stars symbol is the second highest paying symbol in the game. Landing, three pairs of stars symbols in a row on a payline will earn players 800 credits. Again, this would have made more sense to add an additional fruit symbol to the mix.
The bar symbol rounds out the last of the oddly chosen symbols used on Flaming Fruit. Players who spin three bar symbols on a payline will win 600 credits, and once again an additional fruit themed symbol would have fit the bill quite nicely here. The rest of the symbols below the bar symbol are all actually fruits that fit the theme of the game.
The next symbol used in Flaming Fruits is the pair of watermelons symbol. This symbol pays 600 credits to any player lucky enough to spin 3 in a row on any given payline.
The next two symbols on the pay table are a pair of grape bundles and a pair of plum symbols. Both of these symbols award players 350 credits with a max bet any time 3 are hit on any active pay line.
The lowest three symbols paid out in the game are the orange, lemon, and cherry symbols which pay out 150 credits any time three like symbols are spun onto a payline.
Flaming Fruit Gamble Feature
Any player that spins a win in Flaming Fruit will have the option of playing a game for a chance to double or nothing the win for that current spin. During the gamble feature a coin is flipped to determine a win or loss. Players simply have to select which side they think a flipped coin will land on out of heads or tails. If correct, the win is doubled. If incorrect, all credits won for that spin is lost. The gamble feature is completely optional, as it is a high risk verses a high reward situation.
How Does It Play and Look?
The unpredictability level akin to most fruit video slots is usually low – which means that players will spin a winning combination more times than not.
The Flaming Fruit slot is very well designed and the symbols are clean and sleek. The colour scheme is very vibrant and lends itself well the fruity theme. Most of the symbols also fit well within the theme, with the exception that none of the fruit contains flames and the odd choices of 7s, stars, and bars.
The game also has a nice layout, which seems to be the case in all of the Tom Horn series of video slots. All of the buttons are clear and concise and in a handy grouping at the bottom of the page. The pay table is laid out very well in a nice organized column that is very easy to read and understand.
Lack of Added Interest
Flaming Fruit Video Slots by Tom Horn Gaming is a very well-constructed game that players will enjoy. However, the game could have used a bonus game, or any wild symbols, or some other special feature to make it stand out from the crowd.
The symbols used also are slightly off as none of the fruit symbols contain any flames and there are some odd choices of symbols with the 7s, bars, and stars.
Overall though, most of the symbols do match the theme of the game, and the things that do take away from the user experience are not enough to keep players from enjoying this game.
