Zodiac Slot Machine
If you’ve never believed in star signs and what they have in store for you, you might want to change your believes and get on board with Zodiac from Gameplay Interactive. We would like to add that this isn’t about to tell you whether you’re going to meet the man or woman of dreams, but it can tell you you’re about to come into money, oh say about 5,000 credits worth.
And if you’re still not buying it, for those truly stubborn and cynical among you, this 30-payline slot has something that others don’t always have: a cute girl and even more adorable animals. Not to mention a rewarding bonus round that will goes towards increasing that base jackpot. Seriously, there is nothing not to like here, so why not have a little read on and see if we can’t convince you some more… There’s nothing to lose but so much to gain.
Zodiac Attack
Although heavily utilised in western cultures, the zodiac circle and its symbols originate elsewhere, and as such Gameplay have respected its beginnings by setting the game in the homeland of this type of astronomy.
Stood atop a mountain, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful flowers, is a girl with the face of an angel but with the hands, feet and tail of a ram; her big blue eyes look out at you, her soft smile encouraging you to take your fate into your own hands. Which brings us to the 5-reels grid that is being covered by leftovers from the pink cherry blossom, adding to the serenity of the setting.
As Zodiac is based, well, on the zodiac, there are 12 normal tiles and 3 special ones, with the former covering all of the associated Chinese New Year imades, for example the year of the dog, rat or snake. They’re all there.
And each of them has a different amount of money to reward you should you find enough of them; three matches will get you a minimum amount, but we’re aiming big, and so you’ll want to line up five of the symbols. Unfair though it may be to those that believe that your year symbol is the best, the year of the rat comes out on top, giving you 5,000 credits. Sorry to the year of the pig players, for you’re only ever going to get 200.00 coins from your five icons.
The scatter tile is that cute girl from before, she will gift you 10 free spins and a randomly selected multiplier to help crank that total jackpot all the way up. The only thing is, when her games are active you won’t be able to trigger the bonus round. Speaking of which, you need to find three of the bonus symbols to start it up.
In true Zodiac form, the mini level is called Zodiac Pairs and requires you to match the icons up. Players only have three chances to do this, making it quite a tense extra that can go extremely well or horribly wrong, and worse of all is that it’s all down to fate. Ironic really.
The Rules
Here comes the less fun bit… Customers are unable to alter the number of paylines that are activated and as such will start with the full 30. What is more, you can bet between 0.01 and 1.20 (a very accurate amount you’ll agree), meaning your max stake will add up to 36.00 coins, which isn’t that bad considering other titles can have you heading into the hundreds.
There is an autospin option available that begins at 10, though you can reduce to 1 and increase to 100 depending on how you wish to proceed. It’s all fairly standard and easy to get to grips with, especially so if you’re a veteran of slot machines.
Mad for the Stars
Whether you’re into ‘all that nonsense’ or not, Zodiac isn’t nonsense, it is the real deal with considerable monetary gains. It is yet another great from Gameplay, which doesn’t surprise us considering that they’re known for excellent slot machines. There’s not a lot more we can say, other than to try out other activities if you enjoyed this one as we think there’s plenty of others you’ll appreciate.
