True Love Slot
Are you a romantic? Do you believe in Cupid, fate, romantic destiny and happily ever after? That’s certainly the theme here in True Love. Will this Playtech effort bring the romantic out in you or the cynic?
Think Pink
The loading page is not subtle. Set in the clouds, it has a young blonde in a pink dress with a Cupid either side firing love arrows. Not forgetting the game’s name (announced out loud too) in sparkling big pink letters with a big heart in the middle.
The pink continues to dominate within the main page. There are no background pictures, just a pink shade and little pink hearts. Even the 15 winning lines are shown in little pink hearts.
The game’s name has that same style at the top of the page, though this does change when mentioning benefits in the game.
The 5 reels are huge, with that same sense of scale extending to the icons themselves. As nearly all the buttons are pink (Spin is red), it’s a relief that some of the icons have different colours. There’s no music either. The paytable is purple, and shows all 15 paylines in diagram form.
Love is in the Air (and Screen)
You can play any line between 1 and 15, and any of the 10 rounded numbers between £1 and £10, with it being super easy to change. As well as this, you can also play for credit bets of 0.01, 0,05, 0.10, 0.35. 0.50, 1.0, 2.00 and 5.00, with currency in pounds Stirling. If you hit the Bet Max button it will be £750. You can also use Auto Start for up to 99 spins.
There are no number landmarks so you’ll be pressing a lot of plus buttons if you want a higher number. And you can’t go from 99 to 1, so a lot of minus hitting if you change your mind.
While there isn’t any music for the main page, and only basic sound effects for the reels being spun, there is a gentle instrumental love theme on the paytable. It’s easy to change volume if you’re not feeling it.
The most valuable regular symbols are the pigeon and violin, worth 750 credits for 5 of a kind. There’s a big drop to 150 if you can only get 4. The large pink rose is next up with a maximum value of 500, with chocolates and an engagement ring offering 250. There are also Ace, King, Queen and Jack, 10 and 9 icons, going down to a best prize of 100.
Put Your Heart into it
While the many offers have already been mentioned, it’s worth stressing how there are many opportunities to gamble and win big. You’ll be looking out for our winged friend Cupid as he’s worth a very large 10,000 credits if you see 5 of him. Even 4 gets you 2,500, worth 3 times the maximum value of the best regular symbol. It substitutes and doubles everything except for the Scatter.
The Scatter is the blue-eyed blonde lady that provides 15 Free Games with a x3 multiplier, with the opportunity to win more during these free spins. As well as this, you will win 500 credits if you spin 5 of them, with smaller credits available for 2, 3 and 4.
How daring are you? After each credit win, you get the chance to gamble your winnings. If you do decide to, you press Gamble and then see 5 unturned cards. You then choose whether to bet all of your last win, half of it, or return to the main game. If you want to bet, you click 1 of the 2 options and after the first card turns over, you choose from 4 cards to try and get a higher one. Regardless of the result, it will then overturn the other cards in case you were curious. If you win you’re back to the original decision of bet or collect.
There’s a maximum double up limit of £1,000 and it’s always made clear what you’re betting and what you can win.
Will Love Lift us up Where We Belong?
This game may all be cute and fluffy, but there’s no denying there are serious possibilities for nice prizes if you feel confident enough. The theme will doubtless put some off, but beneath it is a game that is easy to play and with plenty of opportunities to win well.
