Jungle Theme
Amazon Adventure is set upon a background of a nighttime jungle scene. Giant green leaves form a border against a navy blue sky set with stars. The paytable is visible at all times to the left of the playing screen and it blinks constantly showing what each symbol is worth.
The trusty 10, J, Q, K, and A make up the lower-value symbols and are drawn to resemble brightly colored stones. Unlike many games, there's a mid-value set of symbols. All of these are represented by the lucky number 7 and appear in different colors, some adorned with vines or moss.
Five fun cartoonish Amazon creatures represent the high scoring symbols. A yellow spotted ladybug is the lowest denomination of the 5 and is followed by a bright blue tree frog and a turquoise toucan. The second-highest valued symbol is a brown leopard and the most valuable icon you hope to see is a purple coiled snake.
Features
Given its unique design, Amazon Adventure doesn't provide a great deal of features commonly associated with video slots. The mid-range number 7 symbols also serve as Scatters and pay out a set amount ranging from 10 to 12,500 that is listed for you in the lower left corner of the playing screen. There also isn't any type of Wild symbol or separate bonus games aside from the two island-themed features described in the "Bonus" section below.
2 Bonus Rounds
There are 2 bonuses, aptly named Bonus 1 and Bonus 2. These are always present to the right of the playing screen and are represented as two islands one green and one brown. The Bonus 1 symbol is a waterfall that animates when it's part of a winning payline. Each time you land on it, you'll notice your explorer automatically advancing one spot further on the island. The same dynamic plays out on the Bonus 2 island, except its symbol depicts an erupting volcano. Once your explorer figurine has hit each stop on the map's path and reaches either the waterfall or the volcano, a generous cash prize is paid out. This is a truly effortless bonus game that results in a guaranteed payout just for spinning the reels consistently.
Limits
Amazon Adventure opens by asking you to choose a coin credit value that will remain consistent throughout your play. You may choose 0.10, 0.25 or 1.00. Once you select a value on the opening screen, it takes you into the game. Once inside the game, you can choose whether to bet one credit on each of the ten lines, or click "Bet Max" to bet 5 credits on each line. Therefore, the maximum you can bet on each spin is 50.00 and the minimum is 0.10.
Play
One of the most unique features of Amazon Adventures is the option to choose your spin type. Click "reel" for the traditional spin where each column falls into place from left to right. Or, click "random" and see each symbol pop up individually in a completely random pattern with each spin. Regardless of your choice, the results pop up quickly and smoothly, and the game is simple enough that no complex controls are necessary.
All the paylines are vertical, horizontal or diagonal and they pay in either direction depending on which one is highest, left to right or right to left. There isn't an Autoplay feature in this game.
