Jazz Spin Slots
Leave the casino behind for a while and take the chance to visit the most exclusive club in town, where you can forget all about your routine and dance to the smoothest tunes you have ever heard. All of this is possible thanks to Jazz Spin, a video slot game designed by BF Games with a killer soundtrack and plenty of surprises.
Jazz Spin might look like a quiet ride, but the game really has a lot of potential. The high volatility implies big but hard-to-get prizes, but nothing that would scare away an experienced gambler. Besides, there are a few handy special features in Jazz Spin ready to help you out, as we will see in our full review of the game here.
Into the Club
Jazz Spin is taking place inside a very exclusive jazz club, where only the most famous musicians come to play. The entire game screen looks like a busy dance floor, with light bulbs flashing to the rhythm of the background music. The soundtrack alone is worth a listen, as it really gives the game a lot more depth.
You might be surprised to see how polished Jazz Spin actually is. In contrast to many other slots from BF Games, this particular game seems to actually have taken quite a lot of time and effort to design. Jazz Spin clearly wins in terms of looks, but we have to look not just as the cover of the book but also at its contents - in this case, at the gameplay itself.
All-Way Pay
Jazz Spin offers players 243 ways to win at every turn, with the possibility to bet from 0.25 to 50 credits per spin. This alone considerably boosts your chances to win, making each spin even more exciting than usual. The separate settings menu lets you choose your next wager easily, with the option to activate the autoplay mode whenever you see fit as well. Each win also gives you a chance to play the optional double-up game, and perhaps multiply your latest reward by 2 in the process.
Despite its open gameplay, Jazz Spin still belongs to the high variance category of games. It could take you a bit of time and credits before you score your first wins in the base game, but your chances of hitting a bit prize straight away are higher as well. Surprisingly enough, the highest reward of Jazz Spin is a meagre x10 prize, and the icons on the reels stick to the classic fruits, bar signs, 7s and other casino icons. You can still count on the wild card to substitute for any of them and boost your chances a little.
Not Too Original
The not-so-generous and basic paytable of Jazz Spin is very reminiscent of that of Royal Crown, which is another BF Games slot game based on virtually the same rules. You can also find some similarities between Jazz Spin and Multi Fruity by Octavian, where classic fruit symbols can combine on an open, 243-way pay setup as well.
The sheer size of the retro fruit slot category of games makes picking one original game quite challenging. Some of them do stand out nonetheless, such as Call Of Fruity from Barcrest. Loosely inspired by a famous video game franchise, the game uses humour to bring some fresh air and novelty to the most classic family of slots.
A Great Start, but a Disappointing Finish
Jazz Spin took an excellent start, with an original theme and some great graphics and background music. The game is really an eye-catcher, and we were drawn to it right away for this reason. On the other hand, the poor gameplay limits your options greatly right from the start, which we thought was really a shame.
We were really reminded of Royal Crown as we were testing Jazz Spin, as both slots are based on the same formula: classic icons, great graphics, no or very little bonuses to offer, high variance. This is the perfect recipe for a challenging game, which all players might not appreciate.
