Phoenix's Fruits Slot
InBet Games love fruit machines – Fruit Heat is a classic fruit machine with electrifying 3D fruity symbols, but Phoenix’s Fruits is bigger and bolder than its predecessor and features more of an exotic classic fruit machine feel, thanks to its fruits ranging from passion fruits to peaches. Both fruit machines from the creative company offer a jackpot of 500,000 coins, but Phoenix’s Fruits will transport you to exotic climbs with its vibrant design and mouth-watering symbols. This 5-reel, 5-fixed payline slot allows you to play from 5 coins to a max of 500 coins a spin where you can benefit from fruity winning combinations and scatter payouts.
Fruity Stats
Phoenix’s Fruits may confuse you at first because at first it looks like a 5 reel, 9 payline slot – thanks to the confusing buttons on the control panel, but it is in fact a 5 reel, 5 payline creation. We have no idea why Inbet Games have created the control panel to look so misleading, but all you need to know is that the paylines are fixed, so use the bet one and bet max buttons to select your desired stake. Each payline allows you to play 1 coin or 100 coins – this takes total stakes to 5 and 500 coins per spin.
Behind the 5 reels is a colourful design which resembles a fruit salad full of different coloured fruits all thrown into a bowl. There are a handful of symbols on the reels, all of which are almost life-like - these include; starfruit, papaya, passion fruit, watermelon, peach, orange, a fire-engulfed phoenix and a feather. You may notice that the bet one and bet max buttons have card patterns stamped onto them - these are to indicate the card patterns of red and black and can be used during the gamble feature.
Fruit Medley of Wins
Despite the name of the slot game, the biggest win offered will come from the feather symbol. Should you be lucky enough to spin in a full payline full of feathers, you will be awarded with the jackpot. Players staking 1 coin per spin will see a 5,000 coin jackpot awarded to their bankroll, whilst those brave enough to stake 500 coins will be awarded with the top prize of 500,000 coins. Wins come in three levels – the jackpot which we’ve just explained, medium value symbols and low value symbols. Watermelons and starfruit are medium valued symbols with up to 50,000 coins offered for a 5 of a kind combination. Low value symbols are the passion fruit, orange, peach and papaya fruits with up to 20,000 coins and the phoenix with up to 25,000 coins.
Fruity Features Aplenty
Sadly, with Phoenix’s Fruits being a classic fruit machine (with a modern design), there are nothing but base game wins to benefit from. Thankfully, the scatter (phoenix symbol) will award multiplier cash prizes when at least 3 fall into view. Scatters are special symbols because they don’t have to fall as a payline, they just need to land anywhere in view to receive a coin reward. Click the rick button on the control panel when a base game win falls – if you want to gamble that is.
A new screen will cover the slot machine and you will be presented with a mystical purple phoenix in a crystal ball with red and black options to the left and right of it. Your gamble amount will be shown to the top left whilst the top right teases you with what you can win. Choose red or black from the control panel or by clicking the red or black options to make your predictions, but one slip up and you lose everything – including your original base game win.
Our Verdict on Phoenix’s Fruit
Phoenix’s Fruits is a vibrant, colourful and very different slot machine from what we have come across before. Whilst it displays itself as a classic slot, the modern design and features thrown in will make gameplay all the more exciting. Despite there being just a gamble feature and scatters, gameplay was fun and fresh – but we are not big fans of that gamble feature – the phoenix cards are very confusing indeed.
When we opted for red – the card displayed seemed red but we would still lose – how does that work?. When the symbols on the reels fall as winning combinations, they burn to dust until you decide to take your win or gamble. Phoenix’s Fruits is a medium variance so you can rely on regular wins to keep you topped up.
