To make their slots as appealing to both operators and players alike, one of their biggest selling points is their ability to increase engagement through their machines. This is done not only by creating entertaining content, but also by integrating promotional features directly into their games.
One of the most important partnerships developed by Kalamba so far is their agreement with ORYX Gaming. That deal, signed in May 2017, will see Kalamba Games provide titles for the ORYX Gaming platform, which aggregates content from a number of small, independent software providers to feature Arcadem slots, Golden Hero slots, and more. The agreement has helped Kalamba overcome one of the biggest obstacles for a new studio: finding a distribution network that can immediately get their games in front of players so that they can start developing a reputation. At the moment, the Kalamba Games collection is rather limited. They offer just a few titles, which is not a huge output for a company that has been in business for a couple years now. However, each of these machines is unique in terms of gameplay and theme, and the sharp graphics and tight functionality make it clear that these are quality creations.
These unique games are sure to catch your eye when you see them at online casinos. For instance, there’s Dyno Odyssey, a five-reel, 50 line slot machine with a free spins feature that can be played immediately or delayed to eventually be played with up to three locked wild reels.
Another interesting game is Fire Eagle, which is an online slot with six reels and 60 paylines. We’re always excited to see a new software developer that is aiming high, and Kalamba Games certainly fits that description. This casino games company from Poland isn’t just churning out mediocre titles to build up a library with a few bright spots. Instead, they’re focusing on crafting each title, to make sure everything they release is high-quality and innovative so that every slot stands out from the crowd.
While you may not have heard of Kalamba just yet, we expect that to change soon. They’ve already appeared at ICE Totally Gaming twice, with Fire Eagle being shortlisted as a “Game to Watch” at the 2018 conference. And while their game selection is small at the moment, they already have a couple more titles in the works, and their rate of production should go up as they hire more developers on their staff.
At the moment, there’s not enough here to suggest you should go out of your way to pick casinos that include these games. But make no mistake: these are quality slots with innovative features, making them well worth a look the next time you’re at a site using the ORYX Gaming platform.
