Lost Treasure Slots
Treasure, danger, unknown landscapes, exploration and wild animals? It can only be Lost Treasure from Wazdan, an adrenaline pumping 5-reels slot from the well known company that has brought you the likes of Lucky Queen.
This title isn’t for those fair of heart for there are many mysteries to be uncovered, and that kind of investigation always comes at a price - if you’re not ready the ancients guarding the riches will know and your attempt will be in vain.
Colourful both in appearance and audio, you immediately become immersed in a culturally rich world that clinks with the sounds of falling gold and sparkles with the promise of becoming a famous explorer. Move aside, Lara, we’ve got this! This is about as thrilling as it gets without physically going into a rainforest on the other side of the globe.
Only the Essentials
Don’t waste your limited space on carrying unnecessary times, they’ll slow you down and throw you off your game, you only need to know and carry the essentials and you’ll be off to a flying start.
What you need to know is that there are five widgets labelled on the control panel which will prove crucial to how this game plays out, most of all because without them you’ll never even begin! Let’s first take a look at the number of paylines in operation.
Lost Treasure has a final number of 10 lines to trigger, though you can play with just 1, move the amount up or down depending on how much you can spend and how great you want your rewards to be. Next there is the Autoplay which does the work for you, spinning those rows in groups at a time.
The middle is the massive spin button, clearly designed to ensure ease of use, and then we have the Max Bet and betting range options. By selecting the maximum bet you will automatically have a stake of a 100 credits on each of the paylines, which means you have a massive bet of 1,000. Should you only being playing with one line, the max bet will recalculate to 1,000 credits; however you slice it this isn’t an amount of money you want to mess about with unless you’re sure. For those that will take a more gentle and thoughtful approach, the lowest monetary figure you can allocate is 0.10, which is a lot easier on your bank account even when playing with all the winning lines.
A Lost Tomb
It always feels like these sort of titles start with a hidden tomb or an ancient temple, but don’t let the generic theme put you off for Lost Treasure is an individual game designed to stand out from the rest. At least in part, that is.
Although 8 out of the 13 images are card and traditional icons, it doesn’t mean that there is no personality to the design, for when they are activated in a winning combo they shake, blow up and dance on your screen to sound your success. In a similar fashion so too do the unique tiles, though they are more enticing in themselves as they are more in-keeping with the general aesthetic being delivered.
All we can say is that Wazdan must like ginger haired characters, or maybe this explorer is in fact Jack from Jack on Hold trying out a new profession after his days of robbery? Regardless of who he is, and we’re still not convinced that they aren’t connected, this guy is the wild symbol and will do his wild thang. Sorry. What this means for those not in the know is that he’ll sub all other tiles bar the special ones, and in this case double winnings from any victorious combination.
The scatter icon is the opening chest of gold that will reward you if you find 3, 4 or 5 of them anywhere on those 5-reels. What does this mean? Well, you’ll be given 15 extra spins that can be triggered during the free rounds as well as having a lovely x3 multiplier included.
What Do You Think?
Wazdan has done it again, they’ve made a slot machine that is accessible for the masses and has considerable rewards, accompanied by a solid array of features. Although it isn’t the best activity around it is by no means the worse, and we believe it is one of the better of the brand’s games.
